1. What else does all this mean?
As humans, you can develop ways of thinking based on your experiences. You can interpret these experiences in various ways, both negative and positive. By asking, “What else does this mean?” you’re seeking alternative ways of looking at things that can create a positive impression.
Think back to a terrible thing that happened in your life and found it to be a hidden blessing. This quote from Albert Einstein might help you:
“Reality is just an illusion, even if it happens continuously”
2. Who can help me?
When setting goals or wanting to create them, too many people think, “How can I do this?” They don’t know that many people out there have achieved their goals by taking real action, not just thinking about it. So, all you need to do is ask yourself, “Who can help me?”
That way, you’ll start to identify who can help you achieve your goals. For example, if you want to become a skilled doctor, you need to learn from skilled doctors. Here’s a quote from Douglas Adams that might help:
“Humans are unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others and to be able to do so.”
3. What can I be grateful for?
Take a deep breath and look up. Then, ask yourself, “What am I grateful for?” and answer at least 10 times. Do this every day for as long as you can. Finding 10 new things to be grateful for each day will help you feel better, improve your mood, and expand your mindset. There’s a great quote from an Estonian proverb :
“He who cannot be grateful for a little cannot be grateful for much.”
4. What can I learn from this?
What separates super-successful people from ordinary people is their ability to learn from their mistakes. They view failure as feedback. They know that success without failure is impossible. So when you fail, ask yourself, “What can I learn from this?” This will help you eliminate negative thoughts.
Never think of leaving a failed scene without taking something positive from it. There’s a quote that can help you with this, from Mickey Rooney :
“You always go through failure on the way to success.”
